Blount County Democratic Party Convention March 21, 2015

Also called reorganization this event happens on odd years in the spring after the elections. The District Representatives (also called Executive Committee Members) for each county voting districts are all re chosen as are the officers.

For 2015 reorganization is Saturday March 21 from 10:00 until 1:00pm. There will be a light breakfast at 10:00am and the doors of the building will be locked at 11:00 for the election process.

The location is the Alcoa MLK center located at: 209 East Franklin Street, Alcoa, TN 37701


Early Voting Has Ended. Election Day November 4th

Polls open from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Check your voter registration card for your polling location. If you go to the wrong place you will be sent to the correct place. It is your responsibility to arrive before the polls close. If you are in line before the 8:00 PM cut of time you can vote, You can not enter the line even one minute later.

BCDP-True Blue Chili-Potluck Dinner

Saturday November 8th 2014 6:00 PM-  BCDP  FUNDRAISER – Potluck/Chili dinner – Music, Food, Auctions and Entertainment.  Location: American Legion at 224 Waters Road, Maryville.  Tickets $10 – see BCDP executive committee members

This will be a fun event.

Chili Social and Candidate Forum February 21, 2014

The Blount County Democratic Party will host a Chili Social and Candidate Forum Friday, February 21st at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion located at 224 Waters Road in Maryville.

We wil have Terry Adams U.S. Senate Candidate and U.S. Senate Candidate Larry Crim  along with TNDP Chair Roy Herron as our guests along with local County Commission Candidates.  Come out an meet your local Democratic Candidates.

Chili with all the fixins’ is our menu along with good Homemade Desserts.  There will be plenty of good food and good conversation. Tickets are on sale now and are $10.00 per person.  You may purchase ahead of time or simply $10.00 at the door.
